The time has come. The coveted Spring Break. Never did I care so much about this week of freedom until I had kids. A forced week off school means a forced week to step away from work a little. What to do but… leave town! After the holidays, cold weather and the start of a New Year goals. In my eyes, it’s the perfect week to go somewhere warm and start the defrosting process with some sort of beautiful mixed cocktail.
I don’t do snow. I think I was a lizard in my past life (or have a thyroid issues but who’s asking) but I am cold all the time- so I need the heat. My husband complains because I like my house like ‘Indonesia-in-January’ kind of warm. Wherever it may be, your backyard by the pool, Easter brunch with the family, Palm Springs, Hawaii, staycation down the street or some island on the coast of Mexico- it’s time for some Easter Break looks.
I’m going somewhere tropical and I have never needed a little break and vitamin D more in my life than now. I had so much fun making this little shop and also shopping for my self on it. I had to stop and make this post because I could have kept going and going.
Pink hues and pale yellows, time for white trousers to come off the shelves with freshwater shell accents. Bikini season is creeping up (but a nice sarong is great because the tans need a little work this time of year) The straw bags are allowed to reappear, the slip dresses are slippin’ and white poplin dresses are needed at little garden parties. It’s new shoes that you don’t have to wear socks with and hats that don’t look like a sock season. Let’s go baby.

I love this brand Dos Ombre’s stripe bags and anything from Alemais is perfect for Spring. Their colors are so vibrant. Obsessed with this fringe skirt/sarong as well as this printed yellow one. Cropped lace pants- i would wear with a big giant light sweater (like this one). Cute mini straw bag with this flowy beautiful poplin dress. T-Strap shoe, shell necklace I just got (it’s so sparkly). Almina makes the most beautiful button downs and I’m obsessed with the fit of these ivory trousers. Ordered !
Another white trouser I snagged at Zara and they fit wonderfully. This straw bag that looks big and of quality ( i don’t like when they have too many holes) . Crochet shoes (have love obsessed- use code CYDM15) Perfect tort sunglass, watercolor wrap and crochet mini dress.
Statement stripe scrunchie, pink high cut one piece (comes in blue too) and this delicate baby blue dress I just ordered. This really unique woven metal bucket hat that will make any outfit a look. Yellow linen cargo pant and raffia ballet flat that is almost sold out. This white dress I am dreaming of, zoom in and look at all the beautiful details of it! This gold chain belt that would be so nice to hold up a dress that is too long. Clear opticals and this shell anklet from this new brand who makes so many beautiful hand-made items. The perfect white sun hat, pink wrap (you can never have enough), Italian velvet shoes and c’mon this white tennis dress already sold out once and I think they just restocked them xx
