A year in the making and she’s finally here.
A collaboration, with the sweet and beautiful Australian girls from coveted sunglass label, Luv Lou!
We had so much fun working together on this project taking bits and pieces from vintage frames we loved to curate two distinctive shapes. I really wanted to deep dive into sunglasses and design something that I felt was missing in the market or that I honestly just wanted to wear.
I personally love a light lenses on some of my frames as I love to wear “sunglasses” inside- but not look like a total jerk. Maybe it’s from wearing opticals my whole life and now I don’t need too. Or just the lack of effort some mornings of wanting to put make up on so I throw on a frame and run the kids to school . It’s a look, it’s a small but oh-so-important accessory that can turn any outfit into a stylish one with the right frame.
Instead of doing black, we did a deep wine color which is this yummy chocolaty, burgundy deep-dark color. You know when its winter and you are at a steak restaurant and you say “i’d like your deepest darkest red on the menu” Well think that….
Every face looks good in a cat eye, truly, it really wakes up your face and instantly feels romantic. We added a custom vintage inspired gold bit on the corners for that retro feel. I would wear the “Imogen” frame in torte with an all white look or the blush frame with a beautiful floral dress this Spring.
The ‘Fox’ is a really light in weight feeling frame which reminded me of some of my favorite 90’s optical lenses. We wanted to take a classic wire frame and add a bit of a cat eye to the shape so it really stayed femme, flirty and light. These are more of a “cool girl” look and I love these under a hat, with athleisure wear or a tailored blazer.
So many choices from torte to blush to wine or gold. I’m so proud of this collection of sunglasses, it’s truly hard to choose my favorite. For the sun or just for some good-old fashion, here it is!
The first shoot was in Australia with the talented team from RUSSH magazine. It was styled with only Australian designers that blew my mind with their unique talents. We had so much fun shooting this at Sydney’s Sir Stamford Hotel.

Second shoot was at our new home styled by me with Ash Wildhart
Make sure to tag me any pictures of you in the frames! Makes me so happy to see girls wearing them xo Cyd
