Everything I put in my house - from Green Row
We moved into a new house a year and a half ago and started mostly from scratch.
Our house is a Cape Cod/ Italian coastal vibes - or at least it is now that I moved in. I got rid of all the grey with Farrow and Ball paints, replaced the lighting immediately and turned it into a lived in home for our little family.
I love Green Row so much. I love to mix classic simple pieces with items from their collection. I love to change prints and styles in a home to get my design itch out. The prints they have just speak to me. With the white and ivory tones in our house, I wanted to add color, texture and prints to make it feel cozy.
That is always my intent with a home- lived in and warm. A place you walk into and feel like a big hug and you don’t want to leave. I love books everywhere and pops of color in unexpected places. Neutral home- no thank you.
The Veranda Stool
For the kids shared room I designed last month (wrote about it here). I added their Veranda Stool at the end of each bed. The room is small, so these are a perfect size that isn’t overbearing. They would be amazing by a fireplace as well.
I loved these especially cause years down the line I can always change the fabric out with an upholsterer depending on where they are sitting in any home.
The Winnie Couch & Callahan Benches:
I was searching, no joke, for a year for a printed couch. I wanted a print that I wouldn’t get tired of, that was comfortable and classic. I keep watching You Tubes on english designers and I just love a printed couch that has been in the family for years. I heard amazing things about Green Row’s couches and let me tell you - it far surpassed my exceptions.
Everyone who comes over melts into the couch and asks me a million questions about it. I got the Winnie Couch ( I love the Hadley for a more modern arm) with a Latex Down Fill, 92” length in the “Libby” print linen. If a print isn’t your thing- they have a plethora of solid colors to choose from, including white. ( But beautiful is the solid pale yellow below!)
They also have these “toppers” that you can pick in a contrast or similar print. They allow you customize the size for whatever your couch length may be- Green Row or not. Have kids or dogs? This is a must!
I put the couch in our sort of lounge/ fire place room that we spend so much time in. We don’t eat in here so I didn’t want a typical, hard top coffee table so I choose two of the Callahan Benches. They are easy to move around (cause you know my kids are playing the floor is lava with them) and can double down as ottomans.
They also would be amazing by a fireplace or at the end of a bed. I was really impressed with how well they are made. Sturdy and tightly woven, amazing quality.
This image is from their site but I loved how they mixed two prints with their Elodie Swivel Chair and couch.
How beautiful is the pale yellow? Think I need that one next :)
The Narcissus print used here on the Elodie Chair for my Dillards shoot.
The Woven Stool:
I put these two stools by our fireplace. I have a deep, deep love with marble. Marbles of all colors and patterns. I loved that we can sit on them, move around and they add a really nice texture next to my wild coffee table. Again, I was wildly impressed with how great their quality is.
Game Time!
My next design is a game room. (Mahjong- my obsession for the last year) needs a permanent space in my home. I just got this game table cover from Keeks Newport that you throw over a basic fold out table. I wanted to be able to put the table away when needed and this was a perfect solution.
The Clara Chairs from Green Row are the perfect addition with the Elle Cushion on top. I just ordered them and I am so excited to have my ladies come over for wine, mahjong and letting the kids swim.
Breakfast Table:
I think one of the best things about Green Row is their various amounts of chair cushions. They have so many different prints and shapes for whatever chair you are trying to use on. Green Row or not. I use the Heather Floral’s for our breakfast table. It’s where we spend most of our time as a family. Easy to zip off and wash when there are spills.
Other Favorites:
I curated a shop and will keep adding to every month all of my favorites in one place dedicated to Green Row. I have this floor lamp in my daughters room next to her chair, I use SO many of their table cloths for different events we throw and you can really an mix and match and find something you need.
It helps a lot to lay out your room on Canva or AI to make sure it all flows.
That being said, I am Green Row’s number one fan and my credit card knows it.
